The company Kitchen TV doo (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”) is the data controller for all personal data collected via the Kitchen TV company’s website, platform, and related applications (collectively referred to as “Kitchen TV”), through which users can access on-demand digital content and related services.
We understand that privacy is important to you, and it is important to us too! We take privacy seriously when processing personal data, including information that personally identifies you, such as your name, contact details, payment information, marketing preferences, or data associated with such information that can identify you directly or indirectly.
This privacy statement describes our practices regarding personal data that we process about you, as well as the rights and choices you have regarding how we use your personal data.
Users Under 18
Individuals under the age of 18 cannot have a Kitchen TV account but may use Kitchen TV with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. Registered parents or guardians may also create separate profiles with age restrictions for individuals under 18 within their Kitchen TV account settings.

We obtain personal data about you in several ways: (i) directly from you; (ii) through automatic collection during your use of the Kitchen TV platform; and (iii) from third parties. We use this data for various purposes (which you may know as “legal bases”), including:
- Providing requested services or fulfilling contractual obligations for you (such as providing Kitchen TV services);
- Complying with legal obligations that pertain to us (for example, ensuring the availability of an appropriate content library);
- When you have given us consent (for example, for sending promotional materials); and
- When the use is necessary for our legitimate interests (or the interests of a third party) – legitimate interest is a valid reason for using your personal data, which is always assessed to ensure balance with your rights and interests. (An example of this is when we use your personal data to verify your rights and access to Kitchen TV through a third-party partner platform).
If you choose not to provide personal data when we request it, or if you object to our use of your personal data when we clearly state that it is necessary, we may not be able to provide you with the services you requested or otherwise fulfill the purpose(s) for which we sought your personal data.
1.1 Personal Data We Collect from You, to:
- Register and manage your account (to fulfill our contract with you): to register your account and provide functionalities for your account on the Kitchen TV platform, such as enabling access to your account, maintaining your account, and providing related customer services, as well as sending administrative information, including information about the Kitchen TV platform and changes to our terms and policies, you provide us with your personal data when you sign up for Kitchen TV and manage your account and profiles. Generally, this includes your name, address, email address, payment information (such as your credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay information), your account preferences, and information about various user profiles you create.
- Support you through customer service (necessary for our legitimate interests and fulfillment of our contract with you): to assist you in resolving any order-related inquiries, requests for support, or general inquiries when you contact the customer service team, you may be asked to provide personal data to validate your identity (as the account owner) and in relation to your specific inquiry. Generally, this includes your name, email address, last 4 digits of the payment card, postal code, billing date, details of your inquiry or request, but it may also include additional information needed to provide the requested support or other information you voluntarily provide us.
- Directly send you marketing materials (with your consent): when you have given consent (or opted in) to receive marketing messages via email, or text alerts from us, our affiliates, and/or partners, we will match your name, email address, and sometimes device information with your desired marketing preferences. You may unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time by using the unsubscribe links in each marketing message you receive from us or by disabling the appropriate toggle in your account settings. If you unsubscribe from receiving marketing materials, we will continue to send you administrative messages and service-related messages as necessary. You may unsubscribe from marketing messages via text alerts by disabling text notifications on your device.
- Invite You to Participate in Surveys, Market Research, Promotions, Contests, and Sweepstakes (Necessary for Our Legitimate Interest): We may process some personal data to determine whether you are eligible and invite you to participate in surveys, promotions, contests, and sweepstakes (when these activities are not classified as direct marketing). This may include information such as your account details (for example, viewing preferences, household members). Your participation is completely voluntary, and you will be provided with additional information about the processing activities for each individual survey, market research, promotion, contest, and/or sweepstakes (including details regarding the applicable legal basis) at the time of your participation registration.
1.2 Personal Data We Collect Automatically:
In this section, when we mention “browser and device data,” this mainly refers to your Media Access Control (MAC) address, device type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system version, browser type, and the version of Kitchen TV you are using. When we mention “application data,” we mean usage data about the application, such as the time and date when the application on your device(s) accesses our servers and what information and files you have downloaded to that application (regardless of whether the download was performed on a device or smart TV). References to “IP address” refer to the number that is automatically assigned to your device by your internet service provider and is automatically identified and recorded in our server log files when you access the Kitchen TV platform, along with the time of your visit and your activity on the Kitchen TV platform.
- Providing Access to the Kitchen TV Platform (i) Fulfilling Contracts and (ii) Necessary for Our Legitimate Interests: (i) to fulfill our contractual obligations related to providing Kitchen TV services; and (ii) to make it easier for us to calculate the level of usage of the Kitchen TV platform, diagnose technical issues, monitor and report on the performance of content on the Kitchen TV platform (by analyzing user behavior in terms of viewing), we collect certain personal data when you visit or interact with the Kitchen TV platform. Generally, we collect information such as browser and device data; application data; and IP address.
- Providing Personalized Recommendations for Kitchen TV Content within Adult Profiles (Fulfilling Contracts): Adult profiles include the ability to restrict content within profile settings, for example, for the entire family (content with age restrictions up to and including 12 years), for teenagers (content with age restrictions up to and including 16 years), and for adults (full content available, including content with age restrictions from 18 years). All options for adult profiles will show personalized content and recommendations. You may receive recommendations for any content available on the adult profile, but access is limited based on your settings. To provide personalized content/viewing recommendations as an integral part of our service, we will collect some information about viewing and about the device (for example, when you “watch a particular title”). Generally, this includes application data, recently viewed titles (and when they were watched); browser and device information; and IP address. There are no personalization features for child profiles.
- Sending Targeted Advertising on Social Media and Related Platforms (i) with Your Consent (Based on Browser Settings) and (ii) for Our Legitimate Interests (as well as the legitimate interests of our platform partners/third-party partners): For (i) sending tailored ads about the Kitchen TV platform on social media and (ii) measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns using audience-targeting technology, we collect (and share with social media – see Section 2 below for more information about social media partners) your name, email address, and information about how you use Kitchen TV. For example, our partners, social media, and other platforms may link your email address (with a hash) and other information about your use of the Kitchen TV platform to data on your social media so that we can send targeted advertising. While we can send you targeted advertising, we cannot see whether you are included on the targeted audience list and do not have access to information located on social media or another platform. At any time, you can unsubscribe from the customized advertising option via your Kitchen TV account settings. - If You Have a Subscription That Includes Advertising, to Provide You with Relevant and Appropriate Ads (i) Fulfilling Contracts; (ii) Compliance with Laws; and (iii) Necessary for the Legitimate Interests of Us and Our Advertising Partners: (i) to provide you with relevant and appropriate advertising, for example, ads that are specific to a certain region or country (such as offers for items available in your region or in a language relevant to your region), based on content (when advertisers pay for ads in specific programs or genres (for example, comedy)), (ii) to fulfill legal requirements of users and advertisers (for example, limited product advertising) (iii) to ensure that advertisements are delivered effectively and displayed correctly and (iv) to conduct analytics about our users’ interaction with advertising on the Kitchen TV platform. In general, we collect information such as browser and device data; application data (which for this purpose also includes your level of engagement with advertisements); usage data and IP address.
- • If you have a subscription that includes advertising and have enabled cookies, to provide you with personalized advertising (with your consent (based on cookie settings) for our advertising and the advertising of our third-party partners): to provide you with highly personalized advertising in accordance with your cookie settings. - • E-mail marketing delivery capacity assessment (necessary for our legitimate interests): In order to understand the performance of the e-mail marketing messages we send to you (in case you agree or opt-in to receive them) and to tailor future e-mail marketing messages to you based on your interactions with our previous e-mail messages, we collect some personal data using automated means. Generally, this is information about whether you opened an email message and what you clicked on in the email message.
1.3 Personal data we collect from third parties:
- Registration and management of your account through a third-party partner ((i) execution of contractual obligations; (ii) necessary for our legitimate interests): when you have registered on or access the Kitchen TV platform through a third-party partner, you will provide the third-party partner with your personal data through its platform. The third party partner will share this information with us so that we can (i) verify you and provide you with access to the Kitchen TV Platform and our services in accordance with the contract you have with us. We will also use this data to (ii) diagnose technical problems and monitor the performance of our services, in accordance with our internal business processes. Generally, this data includes account authentication information (username or email address and password, for example) and associated access data, search queries, logins, browser and device data, and your IP address.
1.4 General uses of your personal data:
- Internal analytics of aggregated and anonymized data (necessary for our legitimate interests): We may use any information you provide us or that we collect about you, in aggregated and/or anonymized form. In this form, the data will no longer be able to identify you directly. For example, using personal data collected during your use of the Kitchen TV platform to calculate the percentage of our users who liked a particular series or movie. We use aggregated and/or anonymized data generated for various purposes, including developing new products and services, to improve or adapt our current products and services, to determine the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns so that we can better tailor campaigns to the needs and interests of our users, and to conduct and expand our business, for example, to understand which parts of the Kitchen TV platform are most interesting to our users so that we can use resources and development efforts efficiently.
- Compliance with our Terms of Use when we collect your personal data (necessary for our legitimate interests): to ensure that the Services and Content are used only in ways expressly permitted by our Terms of Use (which are updated from time to time), our procedures for compliance with the Terms of Use may apply to all of the aforementioned personal data we hold about you.
- Portability of content (compliance with legal obligation): In order to determine which library of content is appropriate to show you, we collect personal data that helps us verify your country of residence. This information may include your IP address, billing address and payment information.
- Audits (internal and external) and compliance (compliance with legal obligations): to confirm that our internal processes comply with legal, regulatory or contractual requirements, our audit and compliance process may apply to any personal data we hold about you.
- Fraud and security (checks necessary for (i) our legitimate interests or (ii) to comply with a legal obligation, as the case may be): to perform fraud and security checks, for example to detect and prevent cyber-attacks or identity theft attempts, and to protect our content rights, including protecting our interests and rights in relation to the content we make available on the Kitchen TV Platform, our fraud and security screening process may apply to all personal information we hold about you.
- To conduct our business (necessary for our legitimate interests): in order to operate effectively within our business model and structure, in a way that effectively serves our users, including using a range of centralized and localized business functions, our administrative procedures apply to all personal data we hold about you.
- Legal requirements (necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation or (ii) for our legitimate interests, as the case may be): in order to effectively defend or submit legal claims to protect our legal rights and interests and to respond to regulatory or law enforcement investigations, our legal claims process may apply to any personal data we hold about you.
- WHEN WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your personal information as described below, for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement.
- Third Party Partners: If you register for Kitchen TV or access the Kitchen TV Platform through a third party or other product or platform (such as an app store or when Kitchen TV is bundled with another TV platform or service provider), we share your personal information with these third party service providers in connection with your use of the Kitchen TV Platform, such as user identification and IP address.
- Contractors, subcontractors and service providers: We share your personal information with third parties that provide services on our behalf (and in some cases with our affiliates), to facilitate the services they provide to us. These may be consultants from other Comcast Group and Paramount companies, professional consulting service providers (lawyers and accountants), service providers engaged in hosting, marketing technology, data analysis, payment processing, order processing, infrastructure provision, IT services, customer service, email delivery, auditing and other similar services.
- Marketing and advertising partners: With your consent, we share your personal information with third parties to enable them to send you marketing messages, in accordance with your preferred marketing preferences, and to manage advertising partners (when you have a subscription that includes advertisements).
- As necessary to protect us or others (including you): We share your personal information if we are required to comply with (and/or when we reasonably believe we are required to comply with) legal or regulatory obligations, such as pursuant to court orders, administrative or enforcement proceedings; or to enforce an agreement we have with you; or to protect the rights, property, safety or security of the Kitchen TV Platform, our affiliates, you, other third parties, users of the Kitchen TV Platform or the general public.
- Business Transfers: We have a legitimate interest in disclosing or transferring your personal information to a third party in the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or part of our business, services, assets, shares (including in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceeding). Such third parties may include, for example, the acquirer and its advisers.
- To comply with our terms and conditions: including protecting our interests and rights in the content we make available on the Kitchen TV Platform, or other agreements we have with you and so that we can seek available legal remedies or limit damages we may suffer as a result of an activity, for example based on court orders and the use of debt collection agencies.
- AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING
We do not use automated decision-making for any legal or other significant aspects of your account with us.
- TRANSFER OF YOUR DATA OUTSIDE YOUR HOME COUNTRY
Please note that due to the international scope of Kitchen TV’s operations, your personal data may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or engage service providers. By using Kitchen TV, you understand that your personal information may be transferred to countries outside of your country of residence, including locations such as the United States, where data protection rules may be different than those in your country.
To protect your personal data, Kitchen TV only transfers your personal data within the European Union and to countries deemed by the European Commission to have an adequate level of protection. Where this is not possible, we use standard contractual clauses issued by regulatory bodies, such as the European Commission. You have the right to receive a copy of the recipient countries or security measures we use by contacting us as described at the end of this Privacy Statement.
- HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary or permitted, taking into account the purpose(s) for which it was obtained and in accordance with applicable law.
The criteria we use to determine how long we keep data include:
- The period of time during which we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide Kitchen TV to you (for example, as long as you have an account with us or continue to use Kitchen TV) and when we have legitimate interests in continuing to retain your personal information as set out in this Privacy Statement;
- When there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to retain your transactions for a certain period of time before we delete them, such as regulatory, tax and audit laws);
- In cases where retention is advisable due to our legal position (such as in connection with applicable statutes of limitations, litigation or regulatory investigations); and
- All guidelines issued by relevant legal and data protection authorities.
- SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA
Do not send us sensitive personal information (for example, social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin, sexual orientation or sex life, political opinions, religion or philosophical beliefs, information related to health, criminal history or union membership) on or through the Kitchen TV Platform or otherwise, unless we specifically request this information. If you provide this information on your own initiative and voluntarily, you will be deemed to have given us your consent to process this data.
- YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
You have the right to access, correct, refuse, restrict, delete, transfer, withdraw consent (when stated as a legal basis as stated above) and be informed about how we use your personal data. Please note that these rights may be limited in certain circumstances, for example, if providing the requested information discloses another person’s personal information. For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before responding to your request. Please note that email communications are not always secure, so please do not include credit card details or other sensitive information in electronic messages you send to us.

We may change this Privacy Statement at any time. We will notify you of significant changes if you have a subscription relationship with us, otherwise we will periodically post updated versions on our website. Any changes to this Privacy Statement will be effective when we make the revised Privacy Statement available on or through the Kitchen TV website.
